7-1-2026 According to the observations at 18:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean has move West-Northwest. It is centered at about 645 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Coco- Island (Myanmar), 420 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Trincomalee(Sri Lanka) and 605 Nautical miles Southeast of Puducherry(Sri Lanka).Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay, partly cloudy over the Eastcentral Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.5) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (3) miles west of Kyaiklat), latitude 16.45 °N, longitude 95.68 °E, depth (10) kilometers, about (42) miles southwest of Kaba-Aye seismological observatory was recorded at (17) hr (48) min (30) sec M.S.T on 20th November, 2024.
