26-6-2025:  According to the observations at 15:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area has formed over the Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining coastal areas of Odisha and West Bengal, India still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards across North Odiaha and adjoining West Bengal. Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

EARTHQUAKE NEWS

(Issued at 07:30 hour  M.S.T)

A Moderate earthquake of magnitude (5.0) Richter Scale with its epicenter outside Myanmar (Bay of Bengal), latitude 19.66 °N, longitude 89.04 °E, depth (10) kilometers, about (251) miles west of Sittwe seismological observatory was recorded at (07) hr (10) min (30) sec M.S.T on 25th February, 2025.
