SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Kachin State, isolated in Yangon Region, Southern Shan, Kayin and Mon States, weather has been partly cloudy in Sagaing and Bago Regions, (Northern and Eastern) Shan State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (6°C) below March average temperature in Eastern Shan State, (2°C) above March average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (39°C) each in Minbu, Sinbyugyun, Shwekyin, Phyu, Ngathaichaung and Bawlakhae. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Launglon (0.87)inch, Myeik (0.79)inch, Dawei (0.19)inch and Pinlaung (0.12)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11th MARCH, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Kachin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainly is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing Region and Rakhine State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
