BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Cyclonic Storm "FANI" over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining the Equatorial Indian Ocean has moved Northwestwared. It is centered at about (340) miles East of Trincomalee (Sri-Lanka), (480)miles Southeast of Chennai (India) and (570)miles Southeast of Machilipatnam. It is forecast to move Northwestwards. Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North and East central Bay and cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 29th April, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin State and isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Yangon Regions, Shan, Chin, Rakhine and Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States.
