SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Kayah State, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing and Yangon Regions, Mon State, scattered in Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine and Kayin States, fairly widespread in Southern Shan State and widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, (Northern and Eastern)Shan and Chin States with regionally heavy falls in Naypyitaw and isolated heavy falls in Kachin State. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Bhamo (4.01)inches, Naypyitaw(Pobbathiri) (2.95)inches, Matub (2.83) inches, Naypyitaw(Otarathiri) and Putao (2.48)inches each, Moekok (2.08)inches and Naypyitaw(Zayarthiri) (1.42)inches.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 12th September, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Kayah State, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States, fairly widespread in Mandalay Region and widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Kachin, Shan and Chin States with isolated heavy falls in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Kachin State. Degree of certainly is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7)feet in along Myanmar Coasts.
