20-2-2026: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Equatorial Indian Ocean and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal has weaken. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over South Bay of Bengal, a few cloud the Andaman Sea and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Bay of Bengal Condition

          A low pressure area may form over the Bay of Bengal. Weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Rain Conditions and Rainy Days

Rain will be expected below normal in Bogo, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine and Mon States  and about normal in Nay Pyi Taw, Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin,  Kayah and Kayin States.

Rainy days will be expected 3 to 5 days in Nay Pyi Taw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States.
