28-11-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka Coast has moved North- Northwestwards and is crossing near Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is centered at about 805 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 225 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India). It is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards and across eastern parts of Sri Lanka Coast and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal and reach over the North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India.  Weather is a generally fair over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

            A low pressure area may form over the Bay of Bengal. Monsoon  will be moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bendal.

Rain Condition and Rainy days

             Rain will be expected above normal in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Chin and Rakhine States, about  normal in  Lower sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Shan, Kayah,  Kayin and Mon  States,

            Rainy days will be expected 7 to 9 days in  Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States, 4 to 6 days in  Lower Sagaing, Mandalay  and Magway  Regions,  Shan and Kayah States.
