27-7-2024: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the North Bay of Bengal and adjoining Costal areas of Bangladesh and Gangetic West Bengal, India intensified into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and cross Gangetic West Bengal and adjoining Jharkhand and North Odisha, India during next 12 hrs. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Water level forecast for Second (10) days of November 2020

      The water levels of Ayeyarwady River are forecast to fall below the present water levels by about (4-6) feet at Myitkyina, Bhamo, Shwegu and Katha, and about (6-8) feet at Thabeikkyin, Mandalay, Sagaing, Myinmu, Pakokku, Nyaung Oo, Chauk, Minbu, Magway,  Aunglan, Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun.

      The water levels of Chindwin River are forecast to fall below the present water levels by about (5-7) feet at Hkamti, Homalin and Phaungpyin, and about (8-10) feet at Mawlaik, Kalewa, Minkin, Kani and Monywa.
