29-11-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining North Srilanka has moved North- Northwestwards. It is centered at about 795 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 150 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India) and 65 Nautical miles North-Northwestwards of Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards and reach over Southwest Bay of Bengal (near the North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India).Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Southwest Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

          The water levels of Ayeyarwady river are forecast to fall below the present water levels by about (½-1)foot at Myitkyina, Bhamo, Shwegu, Katha and Thabeikkyin,and about (1-2) feet at Mandalay,Sagaing,Myinmu, Pakokku, Nyaung Oo,Chauk, Minbu, Magway and Aunglan, and forecast to rise above the present water levels by about (½)foot at Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun.

          The water levels of Chindwin river are forecast to fall below the present water levels by about (½)foot at Hkamti, Homalin, Phaungpyin,Mawlaik, Kalewa, Minkin, Kani and Monywa.
