          The water levels of Ayeyarwady river are forecast to rise above the present water levels by about (1-2) feet at Myitkyina, Bhamo, Shwegu, Katha, Thabeikkyin, Mandalay and Sagaing, and about (½-1) foot at Myinmu, Pakokku, Nyaung Oo, Chauk, Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun.

          The water levels of Chindwin river are forecast to fall below the present water levels by about (½) foot at Hkamti, Homalin, Phaungpyin, Mawlaik, Kalewa, Minkin, Kani and Monywa.
