24-11-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and intensify into a depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Andaman Sea. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Southwest monsoon is likely to advance in Central and Northern Myanmar Areas during first (10) days of June. Monsoon is likely moderate to strong in the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Above normal rain are likely in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States, below normal in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Chin and Shan States and about normal in the remaining Regions and States.
