Condition of Depression
According to the observations at (18:30)hrs M.S.T today, the depression over the Northwest Bay of Bengal has moved North-Northeastwards. It's centered at about (80)miles East-Southeast of Paradip, (100)miles South-Southeast of Digha (India) and forecast to move North-Northeastwards.It is not moving towards Myanmar coasts, the present stage of the depression is coded yellow stage.

Depression is located at Latitude (20.0)degree North and Longitude (88.0)degree East, Centre pressure of depression is (1004)hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is (35) miles per hour at (18:30) hrs MST today.
Next (24)hours Forecast
(a) It is forecast to move North-Northeastwards and may reach along and off Odisha coast towards West Bengal and adjoining Bangladesh coast and weaken gradually.
(b) Under the influence of depression, rain or thundershowers will be widespreaded in Sagaing and Magway Regions, Shan and Chin States, fairly widespreaded in Mandalay Region and Kachin State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Ayeyarwady Region and Rakhine State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States.
(c) Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely attimes Deltaic,off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squlls may reach (35) m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6-9) feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts, (4-7) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Tanintharyi Coasts.
