Condition of Depression
According to the observations at (18:30)hrs M.S.T today, the depression over
Westcentral Bay moved Northwards and its centered at about (130)miles South of
Visakhapatnam and (110) miles Southeast of Machilipatnam.
It is not moving towards Myanmar coasts, the present stage of the depression is
coded yellow stage.
Position of depression, Center pressure and wind
Depression is located at Latitude (15.5) degree North and Longitude (83.0)
degree East, Centre pressure of depression is (1004) hPa and maximum wind
speed near the center is (30) miles per hour at (18:30) hrs MST today.
Next (36)hours Forecast
It is forecast to move North-Northeast wards and weaken gradually
thereafter during next (36)hours.
Under the influence of depression, fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in
Sagaing Region, Chin and Rakhine States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay,
Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin and Shan States during
next (36) hours.
Advisory
Trawlers, vessels and ships off and along Myanmar Coasts are advised especially
to notice in condition of the depression.
