Condition of Depression

            According to the observations at (21:30)hrs M.S.T today, the depression over Westcentral Bay and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal, off North Andhra Pradesh­ Coast(India) has moved to Northwest Bay and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal, off South Odisha Coast(India). It is centered at about (160)miles South-Southwest of Paradip and (70)miles South of Gopalpur (India).

As it is not moving towards Myanmar coasts, the present stage of the depression is coded yellow stage.

Position of depression, Center pressure and wind

            Depression is located at Latitude (18.1) degree North and Longitude (85.0) degree East, Centre pressure of depression is (1004) hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is (35) miles per hour at (21:30) hrs MST today.

Next (24)hours Forecast

            It is moving Northeastwards and is forecast to weaken gradually during next (24)hours.

Under the influence of depression, fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States, scattered in Shan and Rakhine States, isolated in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, during next (24) hours.             

Advisory

Trawlers, vessels and ships off and along Myanmar Coasts are advised especially to notice  in condition of the depression.
