Cyclonic Storm “MANDOUS” Condition
According to the observations at (02:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Cyclonic Storm “MANDOUS” over Southwest Bay of Bengal (off North Tamilnadu- Puducherry coasts (India)) has moved Northwestwards and has been crossed North Tamilnadu and adjoining South Andhra Pradesh coasts(India) between Puducherry and Sriharikota, near Mahabalipuram.
During next (12) hrs forecast
It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and gradually weaken into a Deep Depression during next (6)hrs and into a Depression during next (12)hrs.
General caution
Due to the Cyclonic Storm “MANDOUS”, rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States from tonight to during next (24) hrs. Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at time off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30-35) mph.Wave height will be about (7-9) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
