Cyclonic Storm (AMPHAN)
According to the observations at (06:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Severe Cyclonic Storm (AMPHAN) has crossed near the Kolkta,India and moved to North-Northeastwards. It is weaken into a Cyclonic Storm (AMPHAN) and lies at about (160) miles Northeast of Kolkta (India), about (10) miles Southeast of Bogura and about (85) miles Northwest of Dhaka (Bangladesh).
During next (9)hrs Forecast
It is forecast continuously to move North-Northeastwards and weaken into a Depression during next (9)hours.
Rainfall Forecast
Due to the Cyclonic Storm (AMPHAN), rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread to widespread in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States, scattered in Shan and Kayah States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Chin and Rakhine States during next (24)hrs.
Surface Wind Speed Forecast
Due to the remanants of Cyclonic Storm (AMPHAN), surface Wind speed will be (25-30) m.p.h in Sagaing and Magway Regions, Chin and Rakhine States during next (24)hrs.
Sea Condition Forecast
Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Deltaic, Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9-13) feet off and along Deltaic, Rakhine Coasts. Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely attime off and along Gulf of Mottama, Mon-TaninthayiCoasts.
