SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Rakhine State, isolated in Yangon Region, scattered in Kayin State, fairly widespread in Magway, Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Chin and Kayah States, widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Naypyitaw and Mandalay Region. Day temperatures were (2°C) above May average temperature in Rakhine State, (7°C) to (8°C) below May average temperature in Eastern Shan and Kayin States, (5°C) to (6°C) below May average temperature in Upper Sagaing Region, Kayah and Mon States, (3°C) to (4°C) below May average temperature in Mandalay, Bago and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin and Southern Shan States, (2°C) below May average temperature in Lower Sagaing Region and Chin State and about May average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (41°C) in Chauk, (40°C) in Ann. BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
