SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Mandalay and Magway Regions, scattered in Kayah State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Taninthayi Region and Rakhine State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Sittwe (4.54) inches, Kawthaung (4.30)inches, Myauk U (2.52)inches, Mawlaik (2.49)inches, Madauk (2.36)inches, Taungkok (2.32)inches, Northern Dagon (2.28)inches, Central Yangon (2.16)inches, Hmawbi (2.05)inches, Shwekyin (2.01)inches and Chaungsone (1.97)inches.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11th JULY, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, scattered in Mandalay Region and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing Region, Shan and Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Taninthayi Region, Kachin, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (6 - 9)feet  off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Strong monsoon.
