27-11-2025:According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “SENYAR” over Northeast of Indonesia and adjoining the Strait of Malacca has moved East-Southeast and downgraded into a Deep Depression. It is centered at about 380 Nautical miles South of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 120 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Penang(Malaysia), 150 Nautical miles Southeast of Kuta Makmur(Indonesia) and  495 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar (India). It is likely continue to move Eastwards and weaken into a depression during next 12 hours. According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka Coast has moved North-Northwest and intensified into a Deep Depression.  It is centered at about 800 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 150 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Tricomalee(Srilanka), 370 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry(India). It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and further intensify into a Cyclonic Storm during next 12 hours. Thereafter, it is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards and towards North Tamil Nadu and adjoining South Andhra Pradesh coasts. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Magway Region, scattered in Mandalay Region, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw and Eastern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine State and isolated heavy falls in Kayin State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Gwa (8.70)inches, Dawei (7.52) inches, Thandwe (7.08)inches, Launglon (6.18)inches, Hainggyigyun (4.53)inches, Labutta (4.49)inches, Shwegone (3.96)inches, Manaung (3.27)inches, Phyarpon (2.72)inches, Kawthaung (2.52) inches, Hlaingbwe and Thaton (2.40)inches each.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, a low pressure area has formed over the Northwest Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 14th JULY, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw and Eastern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States, isolated heavy falls in Bago and Yangon Regions. STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9 - 12)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
