28-5-2024:According to the observations at (06:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression has crossed to the Northwest of Dhaka(Bangladesh) and moved North-Northeastwards and weaken into a Land Depression. It is forecast to move East-Northeastwards and weaken into a Low Pressure Area during next (6)hrs. Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and strong to vigorous over the Eastcentral and Northeast Bay of Bengal. Weather is cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 29th JULY, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, scattered in Mandalay Region, fairly widespread in (Northern and Southern)Shan and Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Bago Region, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and isolated heavy falls in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State.
