SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaiang and Magway Regions, Northern Shan State, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Kayah State, fairly widespread in Ayeyarwady Region, Kachin and (Southern and Eastern)Shan States, scattered in Rakhine State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Myaungmya (4.33)inches, Hmawbi (3.66) inches, Pathein (1.81)inches, Pinlaung and Ann (0.97)inch each, Mogoke (0.90)inch and Myitkyina (0.59)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Bay and partly cloudy elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 2nd October, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, scattered in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Northern Shan State, Chin, Rakhine and Kayah States and fairly widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (2 - 5)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
