BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Very Severe Cyclonic Storm “TITLI” over the Westcentral Bay of Bangal move to North-Northwest wards and centered at about (65)miles South-Southeast of Gopalpur and about (55)miles Southeast of Kalingapatinam (India). Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and cloudy over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 11th October, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Bago and Taninthayi Regions, Mon State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions and Rakhine State. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) m.p.h. Sea will be moderate to rough sea elsewhere in Myanmar waters.Wave height will be about (9 - 12) feet Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts and about (6-9)feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kachin, Chin and Rakhine States.
