SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Kachin State and isolated in Taninthayi Region, Eastern Shan, Kayah and Mon States. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (4°C) below November average temperature in Northern Shan State, (2°C) below November average temperatures in Sagaing and Yangon Regions, (3°C) above November average temperatures in Kayin and Mon States, (2°C) above November average temperatures in Bago Region, (Southern and Eastern)Shan and Kayah States and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (2°C) in Hakha, (7°C) in Thipaw, (8°C) in Mogoke and (9°C) each in Naungcho, Heho and Matupi.The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Yay (0.35)inch, Machanbaw (0.08)inch, Putao and Loikaw (0.04)inch each.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 18th November, 2018: Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions and partly cloudy in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Northern Shan, Chin and Rakhine States.Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about (3-5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
