SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin and Rakhine States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below December average temperatures in Mandalay and Yangon Regions, Northern Shan and Kayah States and about December average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (-1°C) in Hakha, (1°C) in Pinlaung, (2°C) in Heho, (4°C) each in Putao, Loilin and Ramthlo, (5°C)each in Namsam, Tiddim and Mogoke, (6°C)each in Thipaw, Naungcho, Mongyan and Pyinoolwin.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 27th December, 2018: Light rain will be isolated in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin and Rakhine States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Decrease of night temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Shan and Chin States.
