SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain has been fairly widespread in Eastern Shan State. Weather has been generally fair in Magway, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine and Kayah States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (5°C) above December average temperatures in Eastern Shan and Kayah States, (3°C) to (4°C) above December average temperatures in Southern Shan, Kayin and Mon States, (2°C) above December average temperature in Bago Region and about December average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (-2°C) in Hakha, (2°C) in Ramthlo, (3°C) in Matupi, (4°C) in Tiddim, (5°C) in Thipaw and (6°C) each in Heho, Falam, Pyinoolwin and Mogoke. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was Kentung (0.12)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 30th December, 2018: Rain will be fairly widespread in Shan State and isolated in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Sagaing and Mandalay Regions and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
