SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region, Kachin and Chin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below January average temperatures in Yangon Region and Northern Shan State, (2°C) below January average temperatures in Taninthayi Region and Eastern Shan State and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) in Hakha, (1°C) in Heho, (3°C) each in Thipaw, Pinlaung and Loilin and (4°C) each in Namsam, Mongyang, Ramthlo and Mogoke.
BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Equatorial Indian Ocean and adjoining South Bay of Bengal still persists. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 25th January, 2019: Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin and Chin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Generally fair in the whole country.
