SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (4°C) below February average temperature in Northern Shan State, (2°C) below February average temperatures in Mandalay and Yangon Regions, Kachin and (Southern and Eastern)Shan States, (2°C) above February average temperature in Chin State and about February average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (1°C) each in Thipaw and Hakha, (2°C) in Heho, (3°C) each in Namsam, Pinlaung and Loilin, (4°C) each in Mongyang and Ramthlo, (5°C) each in Lashio and Mogoke.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 6th February, 2019: Rain will be isolated in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
