23-11-2025: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and intensify into a depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Andaman Sea on 24-11-2025. Thereafter, it is likely continue to move West-Northwestwards and further intensify into a Cyclonic Storm over the Southeast Bay during subsequent 48 hours.Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea, North Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Kachin State, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below February average temperatures in Yangon Region and Kayin State,  (2°C) above February average temperatures in Upper Sagaing and Mandalay Regions and Kachin State, (3°C) above February average temperature in Chin State and about February average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (5°C) in Thipaw, (6°C) each in Namsam and Mongyang, (7°C) in Heho and (8°C) in Loilin.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 24th February, 2019: Light rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Kachin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Chin State. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Northern Shan, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 6) feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast and (2 - 4) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered rain or thundershowers in Sagaing Region, Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin and Rakhine States.
