SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions, (Southern and Eastern) Shan State. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (5°C) above April normal temperature in Kachin State, (3°C) to (4°C) above April normal temperatures in Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States, (2°C) above April normal temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Magway, Bago and Yangon Regions, Southern Shan, Chin and Rakhine States and about April normal temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (45°C) in Chauk, (43°C)each in Aunglan, Taungdwingyi, Gangaw, Pauk, Sinbuygyun, Taunggu and Bawlakhae. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was Pyinoolwin (0.20)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (11:30)hrs M.S.T today, a low pressure area has formed over the Equatorial Indian Ocean and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal. It may further intensify into a depression during next (48)hours. Weather is cloudy over the South Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 26th April, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin and Shan States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
