BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the North Bay of Bengal still persists. It may further intensify during next (24)hrs. Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 11th June, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Shan and Kayah States with regionally heavy falls in Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine and Mon States, isolated heavy falls in Sagaing and Bago Regions, Kachin and Chin States. Degree of certainly is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8 - 12) feet in Myanmar Coast.
