BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 29th June, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing Region, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay and Magway Regions, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Rakhine State and widespread in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Ayeyarwady Region, Chin and Kachin States. Degree of certainly is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (6 - 9) feet along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
