SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Taninthayi Region and Shan, Kayah and Kayin States, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Mandalay, Magway and Yangon Regions, Rakhine and Mon States, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions and widespread in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States with isolated heavy falls in Chin State. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Tongzan (3.23)inches, Tiddim (2.95)inches, Bago (1.74)inches, Falam (1.10) inches, Tamu (0.98)inch, Putao and Kalay (0.94)inch each and Pinlaebu (0.87)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 1st NOVEMBER, 2017: Weather will be partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Shan, Kayah and Kayin States. Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions and Mon State, scattered in Lower Sagaing Region and Rakhine State and widespread in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States.
