BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak in the North Bay and strong to vigorous in the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 9th August, 2015: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Magway Region and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan and Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Mandalay, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Chin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough sea are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon - Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35) m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in the Upper Myanmar areas.
