According to the observations at (10:30)hrsM.S.T today, theDeep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal moved northwards. It is centered at about (660) Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco-Island, (750) Nautical miles West-Southwest of Hainggyigyun(Myanmar), (170)Nautical miles North-Northeast of Trincomalee(Sri Lanka), (160) Nautical milesEast-Northeast of Nagapattinam, (160)Nautical miles East-Southeast of Puducherry and (170)Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai (India).
It is not moving towards Myanmar coasts, the present stage of the deep depression is coded yellow stage.
