Deep Depression

          According to the observations at (15:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over West central Bay of Bengalmoved West-Northwestwards and it has further intensified into a Deep Depression. It is centered at about (140) Nautical miles South-Southeast of Vishakhapatnam and about (160) Nautical miles East-Southeast of Kakinada (India).

It is not moving towards Myanmar coasts, the present stage of the Deep Depression is coded yellow stage.

          Deep Depression is located at Latitude (15.9) degree North and Longitude (84.8) degree East, central pressure of Deep Depression is (1000) hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is (40)miles per hour at (15:30) hrs MST today.

During next (24)hrs Forecast

          The Deep Depression is likely to move West-Northwestwardsand cross North Andhra Pradesh Coastduring next (24)hrs.

General caution

Due to the Deep Depression, squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h.  Wave height will be about (8-11) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

          People should be awared domestic flight, trawlers, vessels and ships off and along Myanmar Coasts.
