Deep Depression
According to the observations at (12:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression over the West central Bay of Bengal has moved North-Northeastwards and reached over the Northwest and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal and centered at about (525) Nautical miles West-Northwest of Coco-Island, (530) Nautical miles West-Northwest of Pathein (Myanmar), (155) Nautical miles East-Northeast of Vishakhapatnam, (55)Nautical miles East-Southeast of Gopalpur, (60) Nautical miles South-Southwest of Puri and (105)Nautical miles South- Southwest of Paradip (India).
It is not moving towards Myanmar coasts, the present stage of the Deep Depression is coded yellow stage.

Deep Depression is located at Latitude (18.8) degree North and Longitude (85.7) degree East, centre pressure of Deep Depression is (1004) hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is (35-40) miles per hour at (12:30) hrs MST today.
During next (36) hrs forecast
The Deep Depression is likely to move North- Northeastwards and downgrade into a Depression during next (6) hrs. After that it may reach along Odisha coast reaching near Puriduring next (9)hrs. It is continuous to move North-Northeastwardsand weaken into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area and reach along Odisha Coast towards West Bengal coast , India around (6.12.21).

Due to the Deep Depression, rain or thundershowers will be isolated to scattered in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine States during next (72) hrs and squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (7– 9) feet Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts.
