26-10-2025:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is centered at about 400 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 430 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Chennai(India), 460 Nautical miles Southeast of Kakinada (India). It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may intensify into a deep depression next 6 hours, Cyclonic Storm may form over the Southwest Bay on 27-10-2025, Severe Cyclonic Storm may form on 28-10-2025 and may cross Andhra Pradesh Coast on that night. Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea, the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay, partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Deep Depression Condition
According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over Westcentral and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal has moved Northwestwards and it is centered at about 440 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Sittwe (Myanmar), 95 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Puri, 65 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Gopalpur and 140 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Paradip(India). 
It does not intend to move towards Myanmar coasts at the present stage and therefore the Deep Depression is coded as yellow stage.
Position of Deep Depression, center pressure and wind
The Deep Depression is located at Latitude 18.3 degree North and Longitude 85.4 degree East, centre pressure of Deep Depression is 998 hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is 35-40 miles per hour at 15:30 hrs MST today.

It is likely continue to move north-northwestwards and cross Odisha and adjoining Andhra Pradesh coasts between Gopalpur and Paradip during tonight.
Due to the depression rain or thundershowers will be scattered Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Kayah, Chin States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States and widespread in Yangon, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Rakhine, Shan States with isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Rakhine States from today evening to next 24 hours. Squalls with rough sea are likely at times in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 30 mph. Wave height will be about 9-11 feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Squalls with moderate to rough sea are likely at times in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 25-30 mph. Wave height will be about 8-10 feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts
