Depression Condition
According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over the Westcentral Bay and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal, North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts (India) has weaken into a Depression now lies over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining the Westcentral Bay, North Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and South Andhra Pradesh coasts (India) is centered at about 755 Nautical miles West of Coco Island(Myanmar), 70 Nautical miles North-Northeast of Puducherry (India) and 15 Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai(India).
It does not intend to move towards Myanmar coasts at the present stage and therefore the Depression is coded as yellow stage.
Position of Depression, center pressure and wind
The Depression is located at Latitude 12.9 degree North and Longitude 80.5 degree East, centre pressure of Deep Depression is 1004 hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is 35 miles per hour at 10:30 hrs MST today.

It is likely continue to move slowly Southwestwards towards the North Tamil Nadu-Puducherry coasts, India and weaken gradually into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area.
