Depression Condition
According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining the Westcentral Bay, North Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and South Andhra Pradesh coasts (India) has moved South-Southwestwards and it is centered at about 765 Nautical miles West of Coco Island(Myanmar), 65 Nautical miles North-Northeast of Puducherry (India) and 20 Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai(India). It does not intend to move towards Myanmar coasts at the present stage and therefore the Depression is coded as yellow stage.

The Depression is located at Latitude 12.8 degree North and Longitude 80.4 degree East, centre pressure of Depression is 1004 hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is 35 miles per hour at 15:30 hrs MST today.

It is likely to move slowly Southwestwards towards the North Tamil Nadu-Puducherry coasts, India and weaken gradually into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area.
