Depression
According to the observations at (22:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengalhas intensified into a depression. It is centered at about (45) Nautical miles East of Paradip, (50)Nautical miles East-Southeast of Chandbali, (75) Nautical miles South-Southeast of Balasore(India), (310) Nautical miles West of Sittwe, (470) Nautical miles Northwest of Hainggyigyun and (510) Nautical miles North-Northwest of Coco Island(Myanmar).
It is not moving towards Myanmar coasts, the present stage of the depression is coded yellow stage.

Depression is located at Latitude (20.3) degree North and Longitude (87.4) degree East, centre pressure of depression is (992) hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is (32) miles per hour at (22:30) hrs MST today.

The depression likely to move West-Northwestwards and cross North OdishaCoast(India) near Chandbali.

Due to the depression, rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread to widespread in Bago, Yangon and AyeyarwadyRegions, Rakhine States with isolated heavy falls in Bago, Yangon and AyeyarwadyRegions, Rakhine State during next (24)hrscomancingtonight. Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced Deltaic, off and along RakhineCoasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9-12) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
