13-9-2025: According to the observations at 12:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Westcentral and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal (Off North Andhra Pradesh - South Odisha coasts, India) still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and across South Odisha and adjoining North Andhra Pradesh and South Chhattisgarh during next 2 days. Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Depression

          According to the observations at (10:30) hrs M.S.T today, the depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has centered at about (315) Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry and about (335) Nautical miles South- Southeast of Chenn‌ai (India).It is not moving towards Myanmar coasts, the present stage of the depression is coded yellow stage.

          Depression is located at Latitude (9.3) degree North and Longitude (84.5) degree East, centre pressure of depression is (1004) hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is (30)miles per hour at (10:30) hrs MST today.

During next (48)hrs Forecast

          The depression is likely to intensify into the Deep depression during next (12)hrs and Cyclonic Storm during next (24)hrs and move Northwestwards. It is forecast to cross near Tamil Nadu and Puducherry coasts on 25rd the November.
