Depression
According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the depression over Northwest Bay and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal has moved West- Northwest and now line over Northwest Bay and adjoining Odisha coast. It is centered at about (25) Nautical miles East-Northeast of Paradip and (30) Nautical miles Southeast of Chandbali (India), (330) Nautical miles West of Sittwe, (490) Nautical miles Northwest of Hainggyigyun and (520) Nautical miles North-Northwest of Coco Island(Myanmar).
It is not moving towards Myanmar coasts, the present stage of the depression is coded yellow stage.
Position of depression, center pressure and wind
Depression is located at Latitude (20.4) degree North and Longitude (87.1) degree East, centre pressure of depression is (992) hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is about (32) miles per hour at (05:30) hrs MST today.
During next (6) hrs Forecast
The depression likely to move West-Northwestwards and cross North Odisha Coast(India) near Chandbali during next (6) hours.
General caution
Due to the depression, rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread to widespread in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine States with isolated heavy falls in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine State during next (24)hrs comancing today morning. Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9-12) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
