According to the observations at 05:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Depression that crossed to the interior regions of Gangetic West Bengal(India) has moved west- northwestwards and it is continuing to cross the interior regions of Jharkhand, India.
Forecast
It is likely continue to move west-northwestwards and cross cross the interior regions of Jharkhand and adjoining north Chhattisgarh during next 48 hours.
Due to the depression and vigorous monsoon over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal, rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread to widespread in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine and Shan States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in some Regions and States from today morning to 28-7-2025.
Frequent squalls with very rough seas will be experienced in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 45 mph. Wave height will be about 14-16 feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Occasional squalls with rough to very rough sea will be experienced in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 35-40 mph. Wave height will be about 10-14 feet in in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
