 24-7-2025: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Low Pressure Area over North Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and further intensify into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal, India and Bangladesh Coasts during next 24 hours. Thereafter, it is likely to move towards West Bengal and adjoining North Odisha Coasts, India during next 36 hours. Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Deep Depression
    According to the observations at (18:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over Bengladesh has moved Northeastwards and centered at about (70) miles North of Dhaka(Bengladesh) and adjoining Meghalaya(India). It is continuously to move Northeastwards.

During next (6)hrs forecast
    It is likely to weaken into a Low Pressure Area and continuously forecast to move Northeastwards during next (6)hours.

General caution
Under the influence of the Depression, rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Upper Sagaing and Thanintharyi Regions, Kachin and Chin States, fairly widespread in Kayin and Mon States, isolated to scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan, Rakhine and Kayah States with isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and  Chin States within next (4.5.2019) to (5.5.2019).
     Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9-11) feet Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts..

    Under the influence of the Depression "FANI", people should be awared domastic flight, trawlers, vessels and ships off and along Myanmar Coasts.
