Depression
According to the observations at (09:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Central Andaman Sea has intensified into a depression. It is centered at about (215) Nautical miles Southwest of Dawei (Myanmar), about (255) Nautical miles Southeast of Coco Island (Myanmar), about (345) Nautical miles South of Yangon (Myanmar). It is moving towards Myanmar Coasts, the present stage of the depression is coded orange stage.

Depression is located at Latitude (11.0) degree North and Longitude (96.3) degree East, centre pressure of depression is (1002) hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is (35)miles per hour at (09:30) hrs MST today.
During next (12)hrs Forecast
The depression likely to move North-Northeastwards towards Gulf of Mottama, Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. It is likely to intensify into a deep depression during next (12) hrs.
General caution
Due to the depression, rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady,Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States, scattered in Nay Pyi Taw, Shan, Kayah States with likelihoodof isolated heavy falls in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady,Regions and Kayin, Mon States. Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (10-12) feet off and along Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama and Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
