8-1-2026 : According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean has moved West-Northwestwards and it is centered at about 735 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco- Island (Myanmar), 250 Nautical miles Southeast of Trincomalee(Sri Lanka) and 455 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry(Sri Lanka).Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay, partly cloudy over the Central Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.5) Richter Scale with its epicenter outside Myanmar (Andaman Islands, India Region), latitude 12.49 °N, longitude 92.94 °E, depth (20) kilometers, about (365) miles east-northeast of Kaba-Aye seismological observatory was recorded at (10) hr (51) min (29) sec M.S.T on 20th November, 2024
