3-9-2025:: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the northwest Bay of Bengal off North Odisha coast still persists. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and cross North Odisha and adjoining Jharkhand and North Chhattisgarh, India during next 24 hrs.Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (3.1) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (5) miles southeast of Taikkyi), latitude 17.25 °N, longitude 95.99 °E, depth (10) kilometers, about (29) miles northwest of Kaba-Aye seismological observatory was recorded at (20) hr (22) min (14) sec M.S.T on 17^th April, 2025.
