A Moderate earthquake of magnitude (5.9) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (22) miles northwest of Hopin), latitude 25.17°N, longitude 96.22 °E, depth (10) kilometers, about (68) miles north-northwest of Katha seismological observatory was recorded at (17) hr (50) min (22) sec M.S.T on 31th May, 2023.
