27-7-2024: According to the observations at (13:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the Gangetic West Bengal and adjoining North Odisha, India has weaken into a Low Pressure Area. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and weaken gradually. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A strong earthquake of magnitude (6.2) Richter Scale with its epicenter outside Myanmar (Mindoro, Philippines), latitude 13.85°N, longitude 120.82°E, depth (114) kilometers, about (1659) miles east-southeast of Kaba-Aye seismological observatory was recorded at (08)hr (49)min (24)sec M.S.T on 15th June, 2023.
