8-1-2026 : According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean has moved West-Northwestwards and it is centered at about 735 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco- Island (Myanmar), 250 Nautical miles Southeast of Trincomalee(Sri Lanka) and 455 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry(Sri Lanka).Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay, partly cloudy over the Central Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.0) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (5) miles north-northwest of Hmawbi), latitude 17.19°N, longitude 95.98°E, depth (10) kilometers, about (25) miles north-northwest of Kaba-Aye seismological observatory was recorded at (07)hr (20)min (42)sec M.S.T on 25th September, 2023.
